General Ride Information
What to Wear:
Dress comfortably. Layers are recommended, along with a waterproof jacket. Avoid loose clothing that could get caught in your bike chain. Helmets and hi-viz jackets are optional.
Bike Suitability:
Most bikes are suitable, including hybrids, mountain bikes, road bikes, and gravel bikes. If unsure, consult the ride leader.

Ride Difficulty:

Easy: <30 miles, quieter roads, no steep hills, relaxed pace. Suitable for less experienced riders.

Medium: 30-50 miles, may include hills, slightly busier roads, moderate pace (10-13 mph).

Hard: 35+ miles, hilly, potentially faster traffic, quicker pace (up to 20 mph on flats, average 10-14 mph).
Ride Leaders:

Plan routes, share information before a ride, provide directions during a ride.

Aim to keep the group together, but may need to ask riders to leave the ride for safety reasons.
Rider Responsibilities:

We strongly recommend obtaining third-party liability insurance. Clarion Cover Third Party Liability insurance is included in the £25 London Clarion Cycle Club membership.
